On Thursday, March 7th Greenlight Entertainment participated in a Wine & Beer Tasting Fundraiser to raise money for TCU’s Post Prom. (Just in case you’re not familiar with it, TCU stands for Tri-City United and represents the Montgomery-Lonsdale-LeCenter combined school district.) The TCU Post Prom fundraiser was held at the Lonsdale American Legion Club and had a great turnout!
We only brought about half of our DJ set-up, but with the short set-up time it worked out great. The background music added to the ambiance without being overwhelming.
There were many activities going on throughout the night. The main event was the wide variety of spirits available to taste, including wine, beer and some hard liquors. Tasting stations were set-up throughout the room and guests could record their favorite drinks on a rating form. Some of the more unique beverages included red moscato, wine smoothies, a berry flavored Jack Daniels liquor and blackberry moonshine.Local vendors also had stations set up to show and sell their products. The vendors displayed a wide range of products from purses and jewelry to wood workings, Tupperware and dip mixes. Andy’s sister Jessie and cousins Amanda and Kate were their showcasing their businesses Country Girls Create, Clothesline Chic and Mary Kay. Andy was able to sneak away from his DJ’ing long enough to snap this adorable family photo.
Other activities throughout the night included a silent auction, door prizes and plenty of snacks. Greenlight Entertainment donated a Music Lover’s basket to silent auction. Check out the fabulous basket!
