Yesterday Greenlight Entertainment had a booth at the New Prague Business Expo held at the New Prague Park Ballroom. Our booth was set-up similar to the Lonsdale Business Expo, featuring the video game Just Dance on Xbox Kinect, lighting, a variety of candy and a drawing for a $25 gift card. The video game was a hit with kids and the drawing went over well – over 100 entries!

There was plenty of entertainment happening all day with a book reading of “Officer Dan Looks for Clues” by author Officer Dan Anselment, dance performances from two local dance companies and a Zumba lesson. And our booth neighbors were great company – Great Clips was giving out free hair cuts and hair coloring; Zap Arcade had a classic arcade game available for free play; Wells Fargo employees showed off their yo-yo skills and the Aging Services for Community booth had a great new look. This event was another family affair as Mark Richter was there with his chainsaw carving and handyman construction.

In addition to the many vendor displays, the Park Ballroom offered a pork and dumpling lunch, which was quite delicious! Other tasty offerings included fresh kettle corn, Czech delicacies by the Czech Heritage Group and blue slushies from Diamond Lake Rental.

Overall it was a fun afternoon! We had a good time meeting more area residents and other local business owners.
